Participants will be picked up at 7.30am to leave for Madonna di Campiglio, which is a well-known resort located at 1550 meters (5085 ft) in a beautiful wide valley between the Brenta Dolomites and the glaciers of Mts. Adamello and Presanella.
It is known as one of the most famous destinations in the Dolomites. Madonna di Campiglio attracts thousands of tourists all year round thanks to its strategic position; in the winter it is a popular ski destination with 120km of ski slopes, also frequented by the international jet set thanks to high-end restaurants, chic clubs and luxury shops.
In the summer season the village becomes a place of mild and temperate refuge from the high temperatures of the city and offers opportunities for long walks, bike tours or excursions among nature in the outdoors. Upon arrival you will be greeted by a tight-knit village nestled among majestic mountains.
Here you will have some free time to go shopping in the local artisan workshops where wood is the main material for artistic sculptures, or dedicate your time to the many outdoor activities like hiking along paths of various levels of difficulty, or go mountain biking on or off the beaten track, go Nordic walking or even play golf on one of the oldest and highest golf courses in Europe.
You can take a convenient cable car that departs directly from the town center, reaching the high altitude of 2500m (7500 ft) at the Grostè Pass, which, besides a spectacular view over the Dolomites, offers nature trails and the possibility of refreshment and relaxation in specifically equipped chalets, where you can safely sunbathe or try typical dishes of Trentino cuisine.
